About Us

The beach has always been a place of relaxation and fun for the Coastal Bend community. We wanted to create a space that captures that easygoing vibes where people can unwind with great drinks and good food.

Our open-air space features shipping container-inspired design, outdoor seating, wide-open water views, beach volleyball, pickleball courts, and plenty of outdoor games. Guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages alongside a rotating lineup of local food trucks serving casual, quality bites.

Sandbox is family friendly, pet friendly, and rooted in community. From local live music and relaxed afternoons to lively evenings and special events, the space was designed for locals and visitors to gather, stay awhile, and enjoy the moment.
Looking to celebrate? Sandbox also serves as a unique venue for private events, parties, and special occasions, with flexible outdoor spaces perfect for birthdays, group gatherings, and island-style celebrations.

We offer dedicated parking directly in front of the property for our guests. Additional parking is available at the public lot at Windward Beach Access.

Guests may also choose to park on the beach and walk up, using the dedicated staircase at the seawall access point. The Sandbox is easily accessible from both the seawall and the main
road off Windward Drive.
