Key Responsibilities

Tellers must represent Members First Credit Union in a professional and courteous manner while performing essential member service functions. Must follow established procedures related to cash handling and transaction processing. Accountable for balancing cash drawer, managing transactions and verifying cash totals. Also cross-sells products and answers questions concerning members’ accounts and/or other services provided by Members First Credit Union.

Skills and Abilities

• High degree of accuracy
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to adapt and handle multiple priorities
• Able to lift forms, boxes, and other moderately heavy materials and records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cash handling or sales experience
• Prior financial institution experience a plus
