Video Art Screening Series: Jenny Holzer, ‘Sign on a Truck,’ 1984

The Weil Gallery at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi presents the next installment of its Video Art Screening Series with 1984’s ‘Sign on a Truck,’ by artist Jenny Holzer. The screening will take place Thursday, Aug. 30, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. The video chronicles the eve of the 1984 election and the social and political sentiments of the people on the streets. It also features cultural figures such as Keith Haring, Claes Oldenburg, Barbara Kruger, and Vito Acconci, among others. The Weil Gallery is located in the Center for Arts.
