The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce’s monthly meeting of the Small, Diverse and Emerging Business Council meeting will be held at 8 a.m. at 602 North Staples in the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority Building (CCRTA), room 324.
The Council is co-chaired by board members Eloy Salazar, owner of Salazar Investments and Bill Stockley, owner of Fast Signs. The Small, Diverse and Emerging Business Council focuses on fostering economic development and advocating for small, diverse and emerging businesses, through collaboration, partnerships and leveraging of resources to provide an inventory of services, resources and to facilitate access to capital, exporting and programming opportunities. The Council is charged with identifying small business members, assessing their needs, developing & maintaining an inventory of resources, services; promoting small business (shop small and shop local) purchasing events in the community and small business growth development opportunities.
