Shark Week LIVE

Join the Harte Research Institute (HRI) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for a weeklong celebration of shark research and conservation during Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, Sunday, July 26 through Saturday, August 1. This year’s highlight event is Shark Week LIVE, a community celebration at Brewster Street Icehouse Downtown on Tuesday, July 28 from 6-9 p.m. Learn how to identify different shark species and the science behind shark tagging with the scientists from HRI’s Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation. A special meet and greet with the HRI researchers and shark-tagging demonstration will take place, along with a live Q&A. There will be shark-themed giveaways throughout the night.
