STAR Credit Union began in 1959 as a means to provide quality financial services to the employees of Pontiac Refinery, which later became CITGO Refinery. The companies in our field of membership have expanded to include oil field related industries as well as the medical community and many more. What started out in a little office on the grounds of the refinery has grown to three full service branch locations in Corpus Christi and over 5,000 loyal members.
