Ribbon Cutting for Enjoy Corpus Christi Tours, LLC

Rene and I love Corpus Christi.  Our retirement last year from traditional employment gave us the perfect opportunity to open a long-dreamed about tour business to promote Corpus Christi.  It was important to us that our fellow citizens and our visitors appreciated our rich history and culture and began seeing us not just as a beach destination, but also as a historical treasure.  

Rene spent the last 31 years working for ABF Freight and served as the Branch Manager for that company at their Corpus Christi terminal.  Susan spent the last 11 years as the Chief Operating Officer for the Women’s Shelter of South Texas. 
  
Ribbon cutting will take place during the Corpus Christi Downtown Farmers Market which opens at 5:00 and closes at 8:00.  There will also be a free Family Art Time activity going on inside the Art Center which begins at 5:00 and ends at 7:00.  Food Trucks will be available for “by the seawall” dining, and there will be a cash bar at the Farmers Market.  UCCCC members will receive a ticket for a free drink.  

4:30 – until City Council members arrive – networking and mingling
5:15 (soon after City Council members arrive) – Brief remarks (Susan and Rene Trevino, owners) and Ribbon Cutting (we would like the usual Chamber members to be behind the ribbon, as well as our family members – we would also like for ALL chamber members to be invited to be behind the ribbon for photos)
5:30 – resume networking an mingling
5:45 – drawing for prizes
6:00 – 6:30 – resume networking and mingling
