With a long history dating back to 1868, Frost Bank started in the back of a small mercantile store in San Antonio, where T.C. Frost provided Texans with the supplies they needed to prosper on the frontier. It expanded into Corpus Christi in 1974 with the purchase of Parkdale State Bank.
