2017 Coastal Bend Day of Giving - Preschedule Donations Begins

Administered through the Coastal Bend Community Foundation, the Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a one day only, 24 hour, online donation event offering the unique opportunity to make gifts that are doubled to local nonprofits serving the Coastal Bend area’s neediest. This year, 25 matching funders have pledged $800,000 in matching grants, allowing each nonprofit’s gifts to double, up to $17,777 for each 45 participating nonprofit, each raising at least $35,554 in just 24 hours!

In the past eight giving days, the Coastal Bend community has come together to raise almost $9.5 million.  Participating in the Day of Giving is simple. You can pre-schedule your donation by visiting www.coastalbenddayofgiving.org, November 5 – November 13 2017.   Click 'nonprofits', search for your favorite nonprofit(s), and click 'Give'.   You can choose to give using a credit or debit card or an electronic check and your transaction will be processed on November 14.  You can also join the excitement and donate on November 14 anytime between 12:00am to 11:59pm.
