SUMMARY:Third Thursday Tech Talk Happy Hour
DESCRIPTION:New Educational Mixer!\n\nJoin us for Third Thursday Tech Talk Happy Hour - yeh sorry it's a mouthful. Every month we'll host a happy hour mixer at our office and discuss relevant tech topics. These will be geared towards the Small Business IT Decision Maker and IT "Point of Contact"...the person in the office that can spell I.T. so they got designated the IT person. We aren't selling things\, just providing a platform to keep you informed about changes in tech topics mostly centered around cyber security.\n\nThis month (June 20th @ 4:30) will discuss the new requirements Google and Yahoo have put in place for outbound email. These records (SPF\, DKIM\, and DMARC) will become "table-stakes" for sending email. Right now (as of June) they'll be enforced on bulk-senders\, but expect more and more email providers to jump on board with requiring you to have them setup correctly to accept email from you. We'll talk you through what they do\, how they do it\, and give you some tools to start getting them setup correctly.\n\nAlternate titles: "Why are all the emails I send going to people's SPAM folders" or "Why aren't people 'opening' my emails?"\n\nIf you have a newsletter you send out\, DO NOT MISS this talk! Coming in June\, Google and Yahoo will be rejecting your emails in mass
